Graduate job

We are recruiting a team of 12 Student Brand Ambassadors to bring a high-profile financial wellbeing campaign to life on campus in Manchester. This is a chance to represent a major national brand and help students feel more confident about money - while building your own experience in marketing, events and content creation.

What you’ll do

You’ll be the face of the campaign on campus, helping students engage with tools that make managing money easier.

Each week, you’ll complete one short in-person activity and one social media task designed to spark conversations, share useful money tips, and encourage students to engage with simple financial-confidence tools.

Your role will include:

  • Leading on-campus promotion and supporting live brand activations

  • Creating content that inspires your peers to feel more confident managing their money

  • Building trust and sparking conversations about everyday money decisions

  • Sharing brand messages across student networks, societies and events

  • Supporting fun on-campus activities such as giveaways, clue drops, promotional tasks, or interactive challenges

  • Creating weekly TikTok/Instagram-style content based on set briefs (e.g., budget diaries, POV videos, money-saving challenges, student life moments)

  • Working closely with a small team of ambassadors at your university

  • Sharing live insights about what students need and how the campaign is being received

This is a hands-on chance to gain real marketing experience - not just post and hope.

Full training, ongoing support, and all campaign materials will be provided.

Why this campaign matters

Students face financial pressures every day. Your job is to make money feel less stressful and more empowering, showing others that confidence with money is for everyone, not just finance experts. You’ll turn an intimidating topic into something useful and engaging.

What we’re looking for

We want students who are:

  • Confident communicators - in person and online

  • Actively involved in student life (societies, sports clubs, networks)

  • Well-connected and known as a “people person” on campus

  • Creative with social media and comfortable creating short-form content

  • Have an engaged social media following of 800 and above across Instagram and/or TikTok

  • Organised, reliable and motivated to deliver results

  • Have an active and engaging social media presence

  • You do not need to be a finance expert, just approachable, organised, and willing to learn

  • Able to commit from late January to mid-March 2026

You must:

  • Be a current student at either University of Manchester, Manchester Metropolitan University, or University of Salford

  • Authorized to work in the UK by the start of your employment

  • Attend virtual training sessions before launch

What’s in it for you

  • Competitive weekly pay for completing your tasks

  • Performance bonuses for hitting campaign goals

  • Exclusive merch and ambassador perks

  • Real-world marketing experience to boost your CV

  • A standout role that builds networks and opens doors

How to apply

We will ask successful applicants to upload a short video introduction as part of screening. Full instructions will be provided.

This is only for the students of The University of Manchester, Salford Uni and Manchester Met.
