Training Contract - Legal Services for Businesses

You’ll have the opportunity to specialise in legal services tailored for individuals or businesses, while simultaneously gaining exposure to our comprehensive suite of teams. This integrated approach ensures that clients can fulfil all their legal requirements with us, while allowing you to broaden your legal expertise across a spectrum of interrelated service areas throughout a client’s journey.

Our corporate/commercial legal teams are a £60 million business with a national presence, global reach, and a local feel with 350+ colleagues across six locations. We have established experts covering financial services, living, renewable energy, manufacturing, consumer, sport, education, and technology, and can offer a range of legal services which means an exciting time working across multiple sectors with national and regional clients.

The Legal Services for Businesses stream covers our ‘Business Services Group’ (BSG) and we typically have 10-15 national trainee roles. This covers 13 teams:

• Restructuring & Insolvency

Across six locations:

You'll undertake four seats over two years, giving you a breadth of experience across the multi-disciplinary teams which service the varying needs of clients in the mid-corporate market and community. BSG teams are collaborative and actively cross-sell their services.
We encourage all our BSG trainees to develop their commercial awareness, to be curious and open-minded about the entirety of our BSG offering, and to take advantage of the opportunities presented by completing their training with such a national firm.
