We’re giving away up to 20 places on our Academy Scholarship programme, each worth £5k! Our Travel Academy is designed to help people with no industry experience launch their own Travel Counsellors franchise on a full-time basis.

What you’ll be doing

As a Travel Counsellor, you'll run a home-based travel business, crafting unforgettable, bespoke trips for your customers using our world-class tech, including our in-house booking platform, Phenix. You’ll be responsible for generating your own customer base, managing enquiries, putting together personalised itineraries, and making those all-important bookings.

Best of all, there are no sales targets, your earnings are 100% uncapped, and you have the freedom to work from wherever you like!

Please note you’ll be required to run your franchise on a full-time basis – although you’ll be able to choose the hours you work based on the needs of you and your customers.

What is a franchise?

A franchise is a business that you own and run – but with the backing, systems, and support of Travel Counsellors – who have recently become a billion-pound business.

When you run a franchise with Travel Counsellors, you’ll use our trusted and proven model to build your own travel empire, scaling and growing your business however you wish.

You’ll be a self-employed entrepreneur, but that doesn’t mean you’ll feel alone. You’ll be trained and supported by us every step of the way. There’s even the opportunity to work in teams with other franchisees or employ your own staff if you wish.

Salary

You’ll earn on a commission-only basis, so the more you put into your business, the more you’ll get out. Our Academy Travel Counsellors earn circa £20k in their first year, but as your build your business, the earning potential is limitless. In fact, some of our best-performing business owners are running million-pound plus franchises!

Location

This is a fully remote position.

Deadlines

You will have until Wednesday 30th April to submit your application and business plan.

Shortlisting will take place between 1st and 3rd May. Your business plan will be assessed by our panel using our scoring matrix.

Initial interviews will take place online between 6th and 9th May. This will be a 30-minute Q&A so we can get to know you and your business idea better.

Final interviews will take place W/C 12th May. You will be invited to our head office in Manchester to pitch your travel business.

Successful candidates be notified by Friday 23rd May and will be added to the induction and training programme (date to be agreed).
