Scheme Information
Intern Scheme (3-month and placement)
We are looking for talented, ambitious, and forward-thinking individuals from a wide range of academic backgrounds to work with the latest technologies and collaborate with team members. Our placements and internships offer the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, real-world work environment, where you'll have the chance to work on exciting projects and develop your skills.
There are several placement and internship opportunities available, including 12-month or 3-month placements for undergraduates. Roles available include Business, Technical and Design Roles available across Consulting, Technology, Finance, HR, Marketing and Software Development!
IBM provides a comprehensive package for career success including support, training and development and a salary of £22,500. You must be on track for a 2:1 and the internship must take place in your penultimate year of university.
Graduate Scheme

As a graduate at IBM, you'll be part of a dynamic team that designs, develops, and implements cutting-edge solutions for our clients, while also driving business growth and innovation.
The Graduate scheme is a 2-year permanent opportunity designed for graduates from any degree discipline who have achieved a 2:1 or higher. This comprehensive scheme offers tailored role-specific training, equipping graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen field. Technology graduates will attend a 6-week Welcome to IBM Sales and Global Sales School, while all graduates will receive a starting salary of £34,000 (with additional sales plans for different roles).
The programme includes foundation training courses in various soft skills and personal development areas, as well as opportunities to travel to clients and work in the office. IBM's Graduate Scheme has been recognized as the Leading Graduate Program for six consecutive years, earning the title of targetjobs Graduate Employer of the Year.
