After graduating from Keele University with a degree in Psychology and Criminology, I wasn’t completely sure what direction I wanted my career to take. I had really enjoyed studying both subjects and found them genuinely interesting, but I realised that pursuing a career directly related to my degree would likely mean committing to several more years of study, with fairly limited job prospects without further qualifications. Instead, I wanted to find a role where I could start building a career straight away and take on real responsibility from the outset.
TPP stood out to me because it offered exactly that. Although it wasn’t the career path I had originally imagined when starting university, I liked the idea of working in an industry where the projects have a tangible impact.
As an Account Manager, I work closely with customers across the UK and internationally. The role involves travelling, meeting with different stakeholders and representing TPP at meetings and events around the world. I am also responsible for managing national contracts and ensuring that we retain our current business, as well as expanding our customer base.
I’ve had opportunities that I wouldn’t have expected to experience. I have travelled to Peru, where I led meetings with government ministers, represented TPP at international healthcare conferences in Brazil and Argentina, and travelled to Vietnam, where we hosted a digital health summit for hospitals. Being trusted to represent the company internationally and speak with senior figures in healthcare has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the role.
