Postgraduate study in and around Brighton
Research at Brighton’s two universities covers a broad range of subjects. At the University of Brighton much of the research in art and design is classified as either ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
The University of Sussex is well known for its interdisciplinary work that spans arts, sciences and social sciences. It’s also home to the Institute for Development Studies, which leads research into international development.
Brighton and Sussex Medical School is a collaboration between the two universities and offers postgraduate study through both taught and research courses.
