Fatimah loved her time with Lloyds Banking Group when she joined us on an internship during her second year of university. Now on our Risk Graduate Scheme, where no two days are the same, she’s enjoying it just as much.

My day-to-day role is really varied. I could be supporting the Group Risk Committee, or delving into insightful papers, writing up notes from a really interesting meeting, or firing off update emails to keep the team in the loop. There’s plenty to get involved in outside my role too. I got to chair the graduate working party, which was a lot of fun. I also got to deliver a Risk-wide event for 1,000 people, using new technology on Microsoft Teams for the first time. Big responsibility, but I loved it. I’ve had so much support, I don’t know where to start. I’ve had introductions to colleagues in areas that I’m interested in and senior colleagues have given their time to explain the more complex aspects of the role. Plus, so much more.
