What did you study at university?

I studied Business Management at Liverpool John Moores University.

How did you find the assessment centre?

I really enjoyed the assessment centre. Although it was daunting at first, I soon became comfortable and relaxed. The tasks were really fun (my favourite being who to save from the cave!). It didn't feel like an interview for most of the day.

How did you find relocating to the area and the support you received?

I relocated to Stoke from Wales. This was a big change for me however, I received great support throughout this transition. I had regular meetings where my wellbeing in and outside of work were discussed. My managers and mentors made it clear they were here to support me. I was given advice about moving to the area and what areas to live in. This helped me tremendously with my move to Stoke. I have been able to find somewhere more permanent to live now and I am very happy. The company accommodation was a great way to settle in as well whilst getting to know the area.

What was your favourite part of the graduate scheme?

I am currently half way through the graduate scheme so have not seen it all yet. However, so far my favourite part of the Trading Graduate Scheme has been working alongside the traders. It is a very exciting and fast paced role. I have also enjoyed the graduate social events which are a great way to meet the other graduates. So far I have been to the races in Chester and crazy golf in Manchester which is organised by graduates for graduates.

Did you know what area of Trading you wanted to work within?

The graduate scheme is allowing me to see different areas of trading before I make a decision of where I want to be. This allows me to try different departments and gain a wide range of knowledge which will help me throughout my career at bet365.

How do you feel about your future with bet365?

I feel positive about my future with bet365. Although I'm only halfway through the scheme, I am already creating a 5 year plan with my mentor. This plan includes lots of progression and development, as well as the opportunity to work with the core trading team in Malta. This is very exciting as there are so many different directions to go after the Trading Graduate Programme.

What is your biggest achievement so far at bet365?

My biggest achievement so far is a document I created about bet365 products in comparison to the rest of the industry. This document was sent to the trading team in Malta and will be used to improve bet365 so that they can enhance their services and remain industry-leading. I feel I have made a real impact, which is rewarding.

Would you recommend bet365 — if so, why?

If you are hardworking, confident and looking for a great career then I would definitely recommend bet365. There are lots of perks to working here and there is great career progression opportunities.
