Amira studied Economics as an undergraduate and earned a Master’s in International Business. But she didn’t know what she wanted to do as a career. Now, she’s found her perfect role as a Data Insight Manager having explored different opportunities on our graduate scheme.

It was clear that Lloyds Banking Group would give me hands on experience and allow me to have an impact. Which was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted responsibility early on. Since I’ve been here, I realise why people don’t leave. I can see the breadth of opportunities everywhere. Now I’m in a more technical team, I feel rooted in the Group’s digital transformation. We’re doing stuff that’s right at the forefront. I can’t wait for us to explore how to incorporate machine learning into our tasks. Inclusion and diversity are important here, which is important to me. It’s things like the flexible working they offer, which I was able to take advantage of during Ramadan. I didn’t need to ask for this – it was offered to me. That makes a difference.
