  • Look out for the occasional immediate start vacancies that may crop up. Some organisations, such as step, also offer internships for graduates.
  • If you've decided to apply for graduate schemes opening in October 2020, plan how you are going to use the time between now and then to make yourself even more employable. Get further work experience? Apply for postgraduate study? Travel?
  • Got a job? Ensure you get a good break from study but make sure you are prepared for work so you can make a good impression from day one on the job.
