About this GradSim

The energy sector is changing rapidly with technical and social innovation driving the UK’s transition to net zero. EDF are the UK’s largest producer of clean energy, operating 5 nuclear energy plants, 32 wind farms (onshore and offshore) and 2 battery sites.

Nuclear power is the most reliable, low-carbon energy source currently available to the UK. EDF is playing a key role in the development of nuclear sites, while the new power station, Hinkley Point C, will provide low-carbon electricity to meet 7% of the UK demand. The project is already making a positive impact on the local and national economy as well as boosting skills and education.

The Science and Engineering Graduate Programme puts you at the heart of these operations. Focusing on all aspects of nuclear energy build, production and decommissioning, science and engineering graduates get opportunities across different teams in locations across the UK.
