I joined JLL as part of a graduate cohort, which made the first few months a lot less daunting as there were people around me going through the same thing. That sense of support has carried through the culture generally, everyone’s genuinely happy to help you learn. Being in the new Broadgate office has made a difference too, especially the terraces on a sunny day. I’m part of a team covering EMEA, so I get exposed to markets I’d never have come across otherwise, which has been one of the best parts of the job. Outside of work, I go to the Young Data Centre Association, which has been a great way to meet others starting out in the data centre industry.
