What does your role in Kingspan involve?

I am involved in improving the assembly line processes to improve efficiency and output.

What is the most interesting project you have been involved in since you joined?

Spearheading the modernisation of the approach to assembly line downtime

What prompted you to apply to Kingspan?

It was suggested to me by my father who was aware of the big changes that the group were making in defining the future of the manufacturing and construction industry.

What was your experience of the Kingspan graduate recruitment process?

I enjoyed the process of the assessment centre and interviews and I was pleased by the focus on personality as opposed to just the content of a CV.

I had quite a few delays in confirming my role due to local factors, rather than the Group program as a whole, however the graduate programme representatives were very helpful throughout the application process.

Have you any tips for someone else thinking of applying to Kingspan?

Go ahead and do it. The company takes a great amount of pride in training people to be effective employees which fills you with confidence while progressing through the programme.

Looking back, what qualities and behaviours do you think you displayed during the recruitment process which made you a good fit for Kingspan?

My current manager was impressed by the personal traits that I displayed during the application process. The notable ones were being well-spoken and being confident in conversation and presentation.
