“The world is my oyster.”

For me, it was the relationship focus of the Commercial Banking Graduate Scheme that attracted me to Lloyds Banking Group. That and its sustainability agenda and ‘Helping Britain Prosper’ strategy, which is supporting British businesses with a range of financing needs. What I learned on the scheme means I’m already achieving in my new role. I’ve led key parts of mega-million-pound syndication processes and I’m even taking a lead on calls under my Managing Director’s instruction. I’m part of a strong Associate pool. They’re always ready to band together and help each other, particularly on transactions. It’s reassuring and has helped me build confidence. My aim is to soon go for an Associate Director role to build out my skill set. I feel like I’m ready for more and at Lloyds Banking Group, I know I can keep progressing.
