Overview

After earning my degree in architecture, I transitioned into a career in sales, starting as an associate and eventually advancing to a managerial role. In this position, I led small teams to achieve our targets. Throughout my professional and educational experiences, I honed my soft skills to foster team collaboration and consistently demonstrated a willingness to learn and adapt to new environments. I joined the Ten10 Academy because I knew it would be an excellent platform to build upon my existing skills while also expanding my expertise in the world of technology. My problem-solving abilities accompanied with my attention to detail which I had developed over the years will be essential as I progress through the academy in preparation for me to embark on my journey as a consultant especially within PMO as I have taken a big interest in the different ceremonies, methodologies and techniques involved.

With a solid understanding of architectural processes, I was able to deliver projects on time while often managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. My communication skills have been fundamental in my previous roles, enabling me to effectively engage with customers and other stakeholders. As a team manager in sales, I developed the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with my team members. This skill has further strengthened during my time at the Ten10 Academy, where it has allowed me to be an effective team member in group exercises and to articulate my ideas clearly to my fellow colleagues and trainers In my previous experiences, communication and attention to detail have been crucial to my development, but it's my work ethic and willingness to learn that have been a driving factor in my progression. During my time in sales, I started as an associate and quickly became one of the highest-grossing associates within my first few months. Within six months, I began filling in for managers on leave and then transitioned into the training department, where I was responsible for training new staff members and managing them during their initial period as they developed within the business. I also took on the task of upskilling existing staff in new systems and processes before eventually managing a team of my own.
